Terms of use

Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Birdseye, an app for Mac and Windows made by Picwork Pty Ltd (ABN 13 703 281 967, ACN 703 281 967) (“picwork”, “we”, “us”). By buying or using Birdseye you agree to them.

Your licence

When you buy Birdseye you get a licence key for use on one computer (a Mac or a Windows PC) at a time, by you or your business. You can move the licence to another computer by deactivating it on the old one (Licence… in Birdseye's menu › Deactivate).

Please don't share, resell or publish your key, or try to get around the licence check. We may switch off keys that are shared, refunded or used against these terms.

Licence checks

Birdseye checks your licence online when it opens. Exporting photos and PDF reports also needs a licence check, so it needs the internet. If Birdseye can't reach us, you can keep editing until a day after its last successful check, then it asks you to connect to the internet.

Updates

Your purchase includes free updates for Birdseye 1. A future major version may be a separate purchase.

Your photos and reports

Birdseye works on your computer. Your photos, projects and reports stay on your computer and remain yours. We don't upload them and never change your original photos.

Responsibility

Birdseye is a tool to help you place, mark up and report on drone photos. Photo positions and sizes are estimates from the drone's data; you're responsible for checking your reports before you send them.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to refunding what you paid for Birdseye.
